As part of our commitment to our valued customers in the Nordics, the MindManager team is happy to announce that we are expanding our presence in the region. This includes adding more MindManager staff dedicated to customers in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland, plus a commitment to attending regional events to connect with users in person.
MindManager recently exhibited at MS Tech Days in Stockholm, showcasing the brand-new MindManager 2020 and had the pleasure of connecting with users in Sweden and abroad.
MindManager invests new resources in the Nordics
MS Tech Days in Stockholm helped us demonstrate our commitment to the long-standing ecosystem of clients and partners in the Nordic region. Sofia Perry, Regional Sales Manager for the Nordics & Baltics and a MindManager veteran of more than 10 years, explains the importance of this presence, and why MindMananger is investing more resources in the region.
“We’ve expanded the team to support the growth we’re experiencing in the Nordics,” explains Sofia. “With two new key roles dedicated to the region, MindManager will be able to expand its onboarding and professional services dedicated to training users, implementing solutions, and developing new use cases in collaboration with clients.”
Joining Sofia in the Nordics this year is Joel Averheim as a Nordics-dedicated Sales Engineer. Joel, who was previously with MindManager for 5 years and returned because of his passion for the product, is delighted to be back: “MindManager is an extremely powerful tool for project management and I’m looking forward to helping our customers get the most out of it in order to improve their processes and become more efficient.”
“We couldn’t be more delighted to have Joel’s expertise and energizing nature back on the team!” notes Sofia, who adds, “We’ll also be hiring a new salesperson in the Nordics to provide expanded support to new and existing customers.” This core team will continue to work closely with our long-standing partners and resellers in the region, including Trigono, Atea, Comparex, Insight, and Crayon.

The Nordics: early adopters of new technology
The MindManager team has seen important growth in the Nordics, and we believe the region has strong potential for the years to come. Scandinavian and Baltic countries have long been early adopters of new technology and are often ahead of the curve when compared with other developed economies.
In addition to that, the mind mapping methodology is often taught at schools and universities in the Nordics, indicating a highly responsive and forward-thinking user group. When students enter their professional lives, they naturally find themselves attracted to solutions that allow them to visualize information and processes, making MindManager a perfect tool for new and developing professionals.
MindManager’s Microsoft integrations continue to improve
In addition to our expanded footprint in the Nordic region, MindManager is also increasing its commitment to Microsoft users and the products they use in their daily lives. As but one sign of commitment, MindManager regularly attends events such as MS Tech Days throughout Europe.
This commitment is directly related to the loyalty that Microsoft users have shown to MindManager, and vice versa. Whether it’s for project management, process mapping, or knowledge management, Microsoft users see real value in complementing MS products with MindManager.
As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we are constantly improving the deep integrations between MindManager and popular Microsoft products like Office, Project, and Sharepoint.
Göran Husman, Solutions Architect Office 365 at H&M, finds the integration with Sharepoint especially beneficial.
“I constantly need to analyse and structure different user requirements for SharePoint and MS Teams solutions, and MindManager is the perfect solution for this type of work,” explains Göran.
“I’m able to easily add all requirements and dependencies, and their relations. Then, I can classify and prioritize them, which makes it much easier for me to understand. MindManager also helps me explain to the user how the solution will work, and why. I highly recommend MindManager for this, and similar tasks,” added Göran.
With MindManager 2020, we are building on this dedication to Microsoft users, and have introduced new Excel integrations to further enhance the power of mind mapping on Microsoft platforms.
As MindManager continues to expand its footprint in the Nordics, and its connections with Microsoft platforms and users, we look forward to welcoming new clients and use cases into our community.
