Here at Mindjet, we’re big subscribers to the notion that a truly connected office space is just as much about interacting with tools as it is about interacting with the people you work with. Our use of Citrix’s GoToMeeting buttresses the effort to balance these two approaches by enabling us to connect face-to-face, regardless of location.
It’s technological innovation with the increasingly necessary bonus of a personal twist.
“A world where we have technologies that allow for us to…brainstorm well and communicate with each other in a very efficient way, every single day, while we’re looking at each other, puts us in a position where we don’t have to think about doing things the way we used to,” explained Jascha Kaykas-Wolff, our CMO, of how using Mindjet in conjunction with GoToMeeting eases the collaboration process overall. “We can just focus on our customer; we can just do the things that have the potential to be successful.”
Meeting is Believing
Citrix recently came to our headquarters to film a short video for their Meeting Is Believing campaign, which aims to showcase how collaborative work environments are breaking down the barriers of communication. According to Kristen Morrison, Sr. Campaign Manager for Global Marketing at Citrix Online, Mindjet was the first candidate to be chosen because of our true ability to innovate when it comes to collaboration (yay!).
“There’s a lot of energy there,” added Beth O’Rourke, Global Design Manager, Citrix Online Services Division, of her time in our offices. “There seems to be a lot of buzz and conversation; you guys do those communal lunches and it gives a lot of people an opportunity to talk and cross-pollinate. Even as you go beyond a true start up and become a bigger deal, there’s a vibrancy there.”
Totally humbled, you guys.
