The Mindjet web app team has released a great set of updates to Mindet ProjectDirector and MindManager PLUS. These updates will dramatically improve your in-product experience and make it even easier for your team to collaboratively manage projects. Check out what’s new in release 9.15.
The New Global Nav
The first big change you’ll see is right when you login. We’ve streamlined the top level navigation from four items to the big three: Projects, Tasks, and Library. Contacts has been moved to the upper-right profile menu.
New Calendar View
A frequently requested feature for projects is to show a project’s trajectory from month-to-month. With the Calendar view, you can now see multiple projects laid out across a calendar view. To switch to calendar view, go to Tasks, then click on Calendar. Select the task lists you’d like to see in the calendar on the left.
Each task is shown on the calendar as a colored bar stretching from the start date to the end date of the task. Click on a task to see that task’s detail. Edits to tasks are reflected immediately on the calendar.
New Health Summary View
Lists of lists can overwhelm and confuse – what’s really going on with your projects? Our Health Summary shows you a daily snapshot of any of your projects for the last thirty days.
Each bar shows you how many unfinished tasks your project has for that day. Orange tasks are overdue. The blue line graph shows a team’s activity inside a project including the updates to tasks, uploading of new files, comments on tasks and other project activity. The overall health of the project is shown next to the name of the task list.
