Each month, our partners at Olympic Limited introduce brand new features to their exclusive MAP for MindManager companion tool. In addition to the February update, Olympic is offering a free MAP license key to the reader who first correctly answers the Mindjet trivia question listed at the bottom of this post!
New February Features
This month’s MAP update includes a new command to help you get more from Map Collections.
Collection Access provides a convenient way to open or close all Maps in a collection with a single command, so users can group and analyze their Map Collections simultaneously or on the go. Even if the maps themselves are housed in various locations and storage systems, this feature allows you to keep all maps related to a specific project in a single place for easy access and editing.
Simply select a Collection and all of the Maps associated with that group will open in MindManager, ready for you to get started. As the Maps are opened, they are automatically checked out, and you will be notified if any Maps are “unreachable” due to a broken Map Shortcut. These can then be investigated and “repaired” as necessary.
When finished, you can use Collection Access to close all Maps within a specified collection, again using just one action.
